Membership fees
Given the international reputation and proven record of success Toastmasters has in training people in public speaking and leadership, the cost of membership is remarkably low. Our membership fees are outlined below:Joining fee
There is a one off joining fee of $40 for new members. This covers the administration costs of registering a new member and the provision of two manuals: the Competent Communication manual and the Competent Leadership manual.Subscription fee
A six-monthly subscription costs $60, that is just $10 per month.The subscription fee is used to cover the club running costs. Members receive a monthly Toastmasters magazine, as well as coaching and support.
Six-monthly subscriptions are paid in September and March. Depending on when you join the club, your fees will be calculated on a pro-rate basis at $10 per month to either September or March, plus the one off joining fee.
Note that all subscriptions paid by employees are NOT subject to Fringe Benefit Tax.
How to join
It is easy to join Toastmasters.You will probably want to visit us a few times before you decide to join. When you are ready you need to fill out an application form and pay your membership fee. We cannot schedule you for any speeches before you have joined the club.
Application forms are available at our meetings, just ask any club officer to help you. The form needs to be signed by a club officer, who will arrange to register your application with Toastmasters International in the United States.
